Easter '09

Sorry its taken me awhile to get this post out. I've had the pictures but have been so busy.

We joined our Martin/Forsyth/Bennenbroek families for Easter Sunday after church. We had a good ol fashion yummy Thanksgiving style dinner and enjoyed listening to my handsome hubby play some of his new tunes (he's preparing for his first debut at our church on Men's Night next week). Our neices Meggan & Mattie and boyfriend Bradon each won $10 on the Easter Tree(I guess that's what we're calling it). We all played with the dogs and then had a nice long time ot visit with just Meggan, not an opportunity we get all the time since she lives down in Cedar City by school.

Then we met up with the Eichner clan at our house for a annual Easter Egg & Scavenger Hunt officiated by my very creative mother. She outdoes herself every year. She spends hours coming up with games and ideas for these things and they turn out to be so fun. The girls got to look for eggs with candy and money and clues. The clues were matching hanging clues that eqach had an activity on it. 12 in all and they including such things as singing your facvorite song in a silly voice, face painting, writing your name backwards, and saying Hannah Montana 10 times fast. It was hysterical watching Mikayl, Sami & Remy jumping through all of these hoops. Its also fun because now they can all read the clues themselves. Good job Momma!
