Awana & A New Pet

I wish I could have been a part of a program like AWANA when I was growing up. It has been so amazing for Mikayl. She has learned so much and it's cool to see her grow in learning God's word and his love for her. Thank you to all who have made that ministry great! Mikayl was pleased to bring her friend Megan (my former student) along too. And of course we met up with our favorite 4 yr old friend Amaiya during the dinner.





Now on to our pet rats. I know many of you think we're crazy for having rats for pets. In fact, I thought it was weird and frankly disgusting when I was first introduced to them. Well, after seeing how much Jefferson & Mikayl love them and play with them, I've gotten over it and I now can play with them too. In fact it's kind of fun to walk around the house with a little animal on yor shoulders playing in your hood! They can be cute, it just takes awhile to allow our brains to comprehend that rats can be cute. We had 2 rats named Sweets and Tips and Sweets recently passed away. SO we went to buy a new white rat last night and because of her beedy little red eyes Mikayl chose to call her Rasberry (both her and Daddy's favorite berry). Her nickname is Raz. Tips is finally getting used to her and being nice to her.

Mikayl's Spring Dance Competition

Mikayl has been practicing her dance routines at the Winner School all year and is now performing in competitions this Spring. We captured this one a few weeks ago when she performed at Olympus High School. We are so proud of her and the progress she has made dacing since just last Spring. It's going to be fun watching her improve more & more each year.

Our other children...

I guess ths is where it all started...when Ava was born in November...my husband became a little baby hungry. He can now admit it! He said Ava pushed him over the edge.

So t's official...Jefferson is in love with Ava! We have had the opportunity to watch Noah and Ava a few times for Crystal lately and we LOVE having them over. We take turns with each of them. Naoh likes it when one of us gets down on the floor with him and crawl around and play with his toys. Ava likes being held, of course! Jefferson takes her up on that every chance he gets. It's so cute. She smiles at him all the time!

So Noah is my boyfriend (and has been since he was born) and Ava is Jefferson's girlfriend.

Look at that cute little butt in those baggy pants! I'm not usually a fan of the saggy jean, but in his case it's pretty darn adorable!
